IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!!!!!

Tyler Michael Fenton was born Friday, November 14, 2008 at 5:11 PM. Friday morning at 5:30 AM was the beginning of the greatest day of our lives. We left home on our way to Fairview Hospital to be induced so that we could finally meet out little bundle of joy. The day progressed nicely with contractions beginning around 8:30 AM and Dr. Starck broke her water at 9:30. Things moved nicley and my little trooper wife got the epideral around 11:30. Somewhere around 3:00 we began pushing, and boy did we push. Needless to say, around 2 hours later, our little gift from God appeared. He was 6 lbs. 10 oz., 18" long and good lord was he adorable. I might be biased, but see for yourself. . .

Twas the night before Baby, and all thru the house. . .

Well, here we sit, anxiously awaiting tomorrow, the day we go to the hospital. For those who don't know, Melissa is going to be induced tomorrow morning at 6:00 am. So this is like Christmas eve night as a 5 year old child. The suspense is unbelievably exciting. . . yet scary. Will we return with a son. . . or daughter. . . or monkey. . . who knows, but it will be the most amazing little thing in the world whatever the sex. First Halloween

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!

Diana and Roxi put on a beautiful shower for Melissa last week. There was a great turnout and everyone was extremely generous and thoughtful. Baby Fenton is making out pretty well already, not only will this little one have everything it could possibly need, it also is surrounded by loving and caring people. Thanks to everyone who attended especially all those involved in the planning. We love you all. . .

Baby Shower in PA

Just a couple pictures from our incredible shower in Pennsylvania. It was very nice of Grandma and Aunt Chrissy to put together for us. We got tons of nice stuff and got to see a lot of family that we don't see very often. Thanks to all who came and helped in any way.

LARGE MARGE!!!!!

Here are a couple recent pictures of cute, little Melissa Margaret. Getting big. . . and they say the growth spurt is still to come. This baby's gonna be a little porker. All is well though. New ultrasound pix to come on October 15. Stay tuned!

WOW!!!

Unbelievable technology!! We feel like we met our child on Wednesday. The 3D ultrasound is really amazing, we watched Baby Fenton clawing around and twisting back and forth. While everything does looks good the femur bones are still short, oh well, short child.

Not too much going on right now. Just growing and moving. The little Fenton is already squirming around and playing soccer. Dad got to feel it for the first time on the Fourth of July, now it's like an everyday thing. More pix of the little ghost on August 18.

What a Relief

Well, we would like to thank everyone for your wishful thoughts and encouraging prayers, they all paid off. We just received the results from the Quad Screen (blood work) and it turns out that Baby Fenton is just going to be like dear old mom and dad, SHORT. What great, uplifting news to receive this morning, big sigh of relief. Thanks again, we love you all!

Ultrasound Day

Well, sorry to disappoint you all, but we decided not to find out the sex of our baby ghost. I guess we will all just have to wait and be surprised. The ultrasound showed that most is normal, it has a good heart, of course, two arms and two legs, and the head is normal ??? They also told us that the baby's femur bones are a little short,(a sign of downs) but look at mom and dad, how in the world could it have long femur bones, genetically impossible!! Anyway, of course we are a little worried right now, but the nurse insisted that we not worry because most of time it means nothing other than the baby is short, go figure. Melissa will get blood work done tomorrow for the Quad Screen which will tell us for sure whether something is wrong or not. Keep your fingers crossed and say a prayer for the littlest Fenton.

Strong Heart Beat

Just wanted to let everyone know that baby fenton's heart is beating at 150 beats per minute. We heard the little thing's heart today at the doctor. Next Monday we get an ultrasound and get to finally see how he/she is doing. To find out or not to find out!!!!! That is the question. . .
